"If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye;"

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

God wants us to know Him and enjoy His company, and the best way to know God is through His son, Jesus Christ.

Matthew 11:28-29

28) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

The promise for those who know Jesus', love Him, and follow Him, in faith is nothing less than eternal life.

1 Peter 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

Jesus', is using the true believer to declare His Word to a lost and dying world, in spite of ourselves as we overcome obstacle after obstacle.

Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
