The question is, can you know for sure if your going to heaven or hell?

John 5:28-29

28) Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

29) And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Your soul is the only possession you have that is eternal!

Your wife, husband, mother, father, children, career, house, car, boat, money, possessions, beauty, health, are all temporal.

Nobody ever has, can, or will, be able to possess these forever in the flesh.

Your soul, however lives on forever in heaven or hell.

Matthew 6:19-21

19) Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20) But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21) For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Do not trust what your pastor's say, the question is, what does God have to say about salvation and going to Heaven?

Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

God's, clear promise,

1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

God wants you to know that you have eternal life!

So many in the church today think they are on there way to heaven!

Do not trust in pastor's, to do your searching and interpreting of the Scriptures!

Matthew 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Jesus', said search His Word for yourself,

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

We serve a God, Who requires total obedience to His Word!

From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible has a lot to say about obedience.

In the story of the Ten Commandments, we see just how important the concept of obedience is to God.

Deuteronomy 11:26-28

26) Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;

27) A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

28) And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

In the New Testament, we learn through the example of Jesus Christ, that believers are called to a life of obedience.

Biblical obedience to God means, simply, to hear, trust, submit and surrender to God and His Word.

John 1:1-2

1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2) The same was in the beginning with God.

Jesus', "The Word" calls us to obedience!

In Jesus Christ we find the perfect model of obedience.

As His disciples, we follow Christ's example as well as His commands.

Our motivation for obedience is love, Jesus', said in,

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Tomorrow may be too late!
