Philippians 1:21For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Death is a great loss to a carnal, worldly person, they loss all there earthly comforts and all there hope.

To the true believer it is gain, for it is the end of all our weakness and misery.

The true believer has been given the privilege not only to believe in Jesus and receive salvation, but they have been given the privilege to suffer on Jesus’ behalf.

Romans 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

Suffering is not sought by those that stand on the Word of God, however, when we suffer for Christ, there is joy that we could, with honor, suffer for Christ

Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Seek Him When He May Be Found
