The question is, who's voice do you hear?

When your surrounded by the voices in the world, you will surely miss the voice of God.
We can find the answer at the beginning of the Bible, in the account of Adam and Eve. We know that God spoke very clearly to the fist man.
Genesis 2:16-17
16) And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
The first man and woman understood perfectly but did not obey. Their disobedience marks the beginning of man’s sin problem which has plagued the human race throughout all history.
Genesis 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
What occurred in the first family centuries ago has been happening in some form with every family since.
Jesus' said in,
Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
As with Adam and Eve, once we have received God’s instructions, we, too, are accountable for what we have heard or read.
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
You can avoid much heartache and trouble by heeding the Lord’s communication; failure to listen results in severe repercussions.
Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
